Mixed Media on Mixed Media Toned Paper

Using a mixture of mediums, I challenged myself to create the most realistic portrait I could whilst using minimal amounts of media on the paper.
I am really happy with the effect I was able to achieve on this unique and beautifully smooth paper.

I created this illustration in 2023 for our special friends wedding card.
Using a mix of mediums on watercolour paper, I tried to really bring out the beautiful lavender plants within this artwork, which was created to the size and shape of a classic polaroid.

Once the artwork was finished I used it to create the front of their wedding card.
